XtraBond 150 is a one-component, mildew-resistant RTV silicone sealant that cures with atmospheric moisture to form a permanently flexible joint. It is designed for general construction, window and door, kitchen and bath applications and provides primerless adhesion to compatible tile, glass, vinyl, aluminum and sheet metal.
Surfaces must be clean, frost-free and free of oil, grease, dust and incompatible sealers. Apply a continuous bead with a caulking gun, force the silicone into contact with the joint surfaces and tool promptly. The manufacturer reports that a 1/4-inch bead cures in approximately 48 hours under standard conditions.
Important: This silicone is not paintable. Test adhesion and appearance before full application, especially on coated or sensitive materials. Follow the current label and technical data sheet.
