ICT Total Rust Eraser is a heavy-duty concentrated cleaner formulated to remove rust and other surface contaminants from compatible hard surfaces. The manufacturer identifies applications that include concrete, brick, masonry, clay pavers, stucco, travertine, flamed granite, artificial stone and selected natural stone. It can also be used for iron, fertilizer and battery-acid stains and as an aid in efflorescence removal.
Test a small area for compatibility. Pre-clean the surface, allow it to dry and protect glass, plants and metal. Apply the properly diluted product evenly with a plastic tank sprayer; do not use metal containers or applicators. Current ICT guidance specifies a 10–20 minute dwell time, followed by agitation when needed and thorough rinsing. Deep stains may require another treatment.
Do not apply the concentrate at full strength. Do not use it on polished, honed or glazed surfaces, slate, flagstone or bluestone. Natural stone varies, so an inconspicuous test is required before general use.
Review the current label, technical data sheet and Safety Data Sheet before use. Use appropriate ventilation and the specified protective equipment, and keep the product away from children. Store and dispose of the product and cleanup residue in accordance with the manufacturer’s directions and applicable requirements.
