Details, specifications & media

Choose a sand rake width that matches the scale of the work area. This wide-head rake is designed to spread, level and smooth sand, gravel, soil and paver base during landscaping, masonry and paving work. The broad head helps redistribute loose material across the work area.

Available widths

  • 2 ft — Lumax SKU 11.01.0012
  • 3 ft — Lumax SKU 11.01.0013
  • 4 ft — Lumax SKU 11.01.0014
  • 5 ft — Lumax SKU 11.01.0015
  • 6 ft — Lumax SKU 11.01.0016
  • 7 ft — Lumax SKU 11.01.0017

Narrower heads are easier to maneuver around edges and confined spaces. Wider heads cover open areas faster but require more clearance. Select the exact width shown for the variant before ordering.

Typical uses

  • Level sand beds before paver installation
  • Spread gravel or soil across prepared areas
  • Smooth loose aggregate after placement
  • Maintain landscaping, masonry and paving work zones

Use and care

Inspect the rake before each use and do not use it with loose, bent or damaged parts. Keep bystanders clear of the working radius and wear footwear, gloves and eye protection appropriate to the jobsite. Use controlled passes rather than striking embedded objects. Remove packed material from the rake head after use, allow the tool to dry and store it where the wide head will not create a trip hazard.
