Bellinzoni IDEA RAPID COLOR is a penetrating color enhancer and protective treatment developed for highly absorbent stone. It deepens the natural tone of limestone, sandstone and similar porous materials, leaving an aged appearance with a satin sheen. The manufacturer also describes resistance to stains from oil, grease and moisture. Because this treatment changes the appearance of the stone, test it on a representative offcut or inconspicuous area before treating the full surface.
Choose IDEA RAPID COLOR for porous stone when a deeper, antique look is desired. It is intended for absorbent materials; confirm the effect and absorption on the specific stone before application. The treatment is ready to use and should not be diluted.
Start with a clean, completely dry surface. Apply by brush, roller or spray gun; Bellinzoni recommends a brush where practical to help the liquid reach pores and recesses. Continue wet-on-wet until the stone no longer absorbs product. Keep the substrate between 50°F and 86°F (10°C to 30°C) during application and drying. Allow 48 hours for complete polymerization before normal use. Follow the container label and safety data sheet.
