The Abaco ABS22 Bow Shackle is a compact lifting connection for straight lifts where load rotation is not required. It can connect compatible Abaco slab lifters, forklift booms and scissor clamps, providing a secure link within a properly engineered material-handling system.
Abaco describes the shackle as steel with a galvanized finish for durability. The stated rating applies to the shackle itself; the complete system is always limited by its lowest-rated lifter, boom, clamp, hook, attachment point or other component.
Confirm compatibility and load ratings before every lift. Inspect the bow, pin, safety bolt and split pin, and remove incomplete, worn, bent, cracked or corroded hardware from service. Never side-load or use the shackle for rotation unless the manufacturer's current instructions expressly permit it. Keep personnel outside the fall zone and follow a qualified rigging plan.
